Biography

I have a rare blend of professional and personal expertise, and as an older therapist can bring the benefit of my experiences to the therapy room. I deeply understand the weight of deadlines, family pressure, and life transitions. My clients come to me with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, OCD/ADHD, low self-esteem, or a history of abuse or domestic violence. Many are also supporting a loved one with addiction while trying to hold their own life together. My clients tend to stay working with me because I help them function while they heal. My practice benefits both those dealing with adult life complexities - overwhelm, burnout, depression, divorce, grief and loss, career changes - as well as those in the midst of life transitions. In this regard I have three decades of experience in working with school leavers, post-secondary students, and those struggling to make decisions about the future.
