Hi there! I'm Jialin Yang, or you can call me Sherry! Welcome and thank you for taking the time to explore this space - whether you're feeling overwhelmed, bewildered, or just curious about healing. Whatever you're feeling, I'm here for you. I'm currently working towards a Master’s degree in counseling psychology (MACP). I offer low-cost online therapy under clinical supervision and I'm here to create a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without any judgement. I truly believe that we all have the power to grow and become the best versions of ourselves. Healing doesn't start with having all the "right answers"; it starts with finding joy and contentment in your own situation. As someone who grew up across cultures, I understand how confusing and isolating it can feel to be “in between” — between languages, values, or expectations. Whether you’re a student feeling burnt out, a young adult facing uncertainty, or someone carrying quiet pain, therapy can offer you a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your own voice. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I draw from evidence-based modalities like CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore what feels heavy, what you’ve been protecting, and what might become possible when you feel safe and seen. You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy.
