“A person’s a person, no matter how small.” – Dr. Seuss This quote has stayed with me since childhood. It reminds me that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported—no matter their age, background, or story. Hi, I’m Ummi (short for Ummehani), and I work with individuals, children, and couples navigating the complex emotions that come with change, identity, and disconnection. I bring over 10 years of experience as a behaviour therapist and now as a psychotherapist to the work I do—alongside my own lived experience as an immigrant, parent, and member of the BIPOC community. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and client-centered. I meet you where you are, and together we explore what healing looks like on your terms. In our work together, You’ll have space to share what’s on your heart and mind without pressure or judgment. I’ll listen closely to what matters most to you, and together we’ll create a path that reflects your strengths and your story.
