Shaden Sowan
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I help adults who feel stuck, disconnected, or creatively blocked move from survival mode toward clarity, self-trust, and authentic expression. My approach is relational, experiential, and trauma-informed, blending depth and warmth to explore the patterns that keep you stuck and uncover new ways of living with freedom and connection.
I understand how it feels to live disconnected from yourself, or to inhabit a body in pain. These experiences are part of why I believe therapy matters: because clarity can replace confusion, and new parts of us can emerge when given space.
Being Palestinian is central to who I am; it shapes how I see the world, relate to others, and perceive healing as something collective as well as personal. Having lived in Doha, Paris, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, I bring a sensitivity to how place, culture, and history shape us.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent eight years in the corporate world. Outside of sessions, you can usually find me in the mountains or my garden.
