With over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals across the wellness continuum—from acute care settings to community-based therapy. My clinical practice is rooted in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. I have a strong passion for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly newcomers, refugees, BIPOC communities, and those navigating cultural assimilation or identity transitions. I also specialize in supporting individuals experiencing grief, loss, depression, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, PTSD, and relational challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve integrated evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based approaches. As Clinical Coordinator at Healing Ways Psychotherapy, I lead a team of skilled, compassionate clinicians committed to inclusive care. We are dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces for people of all identities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals with different abilities. My mission is to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own path to healing.
