What is ADHD and can therapy help adults as well as children?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity that impair functioning across settings. While often identified in childhood, ADHD frequently continues into adulthood and affects an estimated 4–5% of Canadian adults. Can therapy replace ADHD medication?
